Hey everyone,
We’ve tried our fair share of baby products over the years and I always tend to get excited when I see something new on the supermarket shelves!
Earlier in the year having just had my youngest baby Wyatt, we spotted Hellobello products in Asda. We tried a pack of nappies since the patterns were so cute and also the bubble bath and it was lovely, ever so gentle on his delicate skin and it smelled wonderful.
Well recently I was contacted by Hellobello themselves to see if I would like to try out the rest of their products range and I gladly accepted. Here’s my honest review of their products.
Let me first start with their nappies and pull up nappies. Now I’m quite fussy when it comes to this as I find some brands leak, don’t have enough holding power or aren’t soft enough. We absolutely love these and have switched from Pampers. The material these nappies are made of are so gentle and soft which is important to stop Wyatt getting any irritation. They have got a really good stretch to them and he finds them very comfortable to wear. My favourite are the Koala 🐨 pattern as it’s ridiculously cute! They are also much more sustainable as they are made from sustainably haven’t fluff pulp and are free from nasty additives. The Nappies and pants are £5 per pack although I did actually get them on offer for £4 in Asda this week so always worth keeping an eye out.
The baby wipes are great and do a good job of cleaning messy faces and bottoms too! Very soft and a good about of wetness to be able to clean without too much pressure which isn’t nice on the skin.
I mentioned above about their bubble bath, it really is lovely and my favourite out of them all is lavender closely followed by Vanilla and Apricot which smells like apricot jam to my nose. The bottle says shampoo and wash and we use this as both bubble bath, shampoo and also on sponges to give him a good wash. It’s super gentle and he smells delicious after.
We’ve been following up his bath with a little bit of their baby oil on damp skin (a little goes a long way) it’s lovely and moisturising on his skin. And finishing off with their baby lotion – I like to match it to the same Scent of his bath. It’s quite a runny lotion and spreads really easily, he has a little massage with this before he gets his pyjamas on and has his milk before bed. Always end up sniffing his fluffy after bath hair when he’s asleep on me! He smells so good.
Overall I would definitely recommend these products, the bath and body contain such gentle and nourishing ingredients which I feel really happy about using on all of my kids and the nappies are probably the best disposables we’ve ever used and I’ve been a parent for a long time now. I found the range to be affordable too which is important considering the price of most things have gone up a lot.
