Hey Everyone,
Looking for an activity for at home for the summer? Well we thoroughly enjoy rock painting. I know in some areas people place their painted rocks ready for someone else to find them which is super cool especially for the kids. My daughters are nearly 5 and nearly 7 and they really enjoy being creative with arts and crafts.

I loved to do arts and crafts especially before i had kids, as they got older I have realised just how messy these activities are and tend to avoid them especially in our house as these things get allover the carpet. These mess free paint sticks are the answer to my problem. The paint pop paint sticks (available from Very) are perfect for little hands. No paint brushes or water involved and they dry in under a minute. We used ours to paint some rocks that we picked up from our last trip to the beach and the girls really enjoyed it.
We received the Fun Tub £12.99 which has 20 colours (12 classic, 6 neon and 2 metallic) and also the 24 pack £14.99 (12 classic, 6 neons and 6 metallics) so we had a huge variety of colours to play around with. What we found great was that they dried super fast so that we could paint more colours over the top of them!
The paint sticks are super easy to use and you simply open, twist and paint. Much like using a glue stick, you can use them on many different materials such as wood, canvas, paper, cardboard and glass. I’ll be letting the girls give us some stained glass effect windows in the summer holidays. Don’t worry, the paint washes off! All of the paints are water-soluble and non-toxic, and all packs and paint tubes are readily recyclable.
All in all these were great and we will definitely get a lot of use out of the paints! As a parent I would definitely recommend these to other parents of young children!
