The Pandemic had everyone struggling to figure out how to stay safe, and there was little room to think about having fun. The one group of people that suffered the most was children. Since they had been used to running around almost all day, they had to put up with being confined to one place. With this, it meant that most of them resolved to either watching TV or playing video games. After a while, most children were not running around. As areas are opening up, it is taking a while to have these children on their feet and running again. Here are a couple of things you can do that will help you get the children to achieve more.

Reduce TV time
The best way to help your kids get their energy back is to reduce TV time. While they might get angry at first, they will soon find something else to do, which is more likely action-packed. Instead of screen time, you could ask them to go out and play longer or have them play in the house. As long as they are away from the screen, it will help you lift their spirits, and soon they will be ready for the outside world.
Introduce craft ideas in the home
If there are still restrictions in public spaces, then there are other things you can do in the home. Have your children engage in art projects together. You can shop for wholesale Christmas supplies and have the children start on their Christmas decorations early. If you are lucky, you can even get some Halloween decorations as well and have them prepare both the decorations ahead of time. Since they are not going it when strained for time, they will come up with even more creative designs for your home.
Build an obstacle race in your backyard
While the kids might not get to go to the park and play with other kids, you can still introduce an obstacle race in your backyard. It does not have to be fancy, but all you need is something that has some added level of difficulty to it. It will help your children stay active as competitiveness will send their adrenaline over the roof. It is also something they will look forward to, making it easier to get them out of the house.
Play indoor games
If they cannot leave the house either because of the weather or because of the Pandemic, then you can introduce games they can play indoors. Games like hide and seek are recommended as they have the added thrill to them. It also helps them work together on winning a game which improves their sibling bond.
Keeping children active during the Pandemic is a hard thing to do. At the end of the day, however, it is vital that you ensure their energy levels stay up. Make your home more fun, so the children do not have to worry about what is going in the world. It will also help them handle the anxiety that comes from being locked up at home better.
