I don’t know about you but I love trying out new skin care! I wouldn’t say I have a favourite because I’m always switching for something else. My skin is forever changing and at the moment goes from looking great to looking like a spotty teenager thanks to my monthly cycle treating me well… cheers hormones!
I was sent some lovely bits from Wheesht to try out which included their cleansing balm and day cream. Wheesht are a lovely natural, cruelty free and vegan skincare brand who’s aim is to give customers ethical skincare products that they can use with a clear conscience.

I love a good cleansing balm and have tried quite a few over the past few years. I love them because they don’t tend to strip my skin of its natural oils. Depending on the texture of the balm I’ll either remove my eye makeup off first before I use it and then go in with the cleansing balm. I rub it in for about a minute to make sure it’s picking up all of the dirt or makeup from my face and then splash a flannel with hot water, ring it out and wait for it to cool down a little before I wipe it off.
The Wheesht Cleansing Balm is quite a thick consistency, it smells slightly fruitywhich I’m guessing is from the inclusion of the mango butter and lemon essential oil. It’s definitely a pleasant scent. I wasn’t sure whether or not this was one of those balms that would remove all of my makeup off so the first time I used it, I’d left my mascara on to test it. It did take off the majority of my mascara when I wiped it away but I really had to work it into my lashes. So since then I’ve been removing my eye makeup and whatever is left on my face first before using this. It left my face feeling soft and supple after use and my skin didn’t feel tight or dry which was great. What I also like about this cleaning balm is that you can also put it on clean dry skin as a hydrating balm, which would be perfect if your skin needs a little extra moisture during the cold weather. ( it’s been so cold hasn’t it)
I was also sent their Balancing Day Cream to try out which is a daily moisturiser with Rosehip oil and Olive Squalane. My first thoughts when I tried this was this feels really luxurious on my skin, it sunk in very nicely and my skin drank it up!
I did also think it would be nice to use as a night cream so I’ve been using it in the evening too. Only now that I’ve been reading the back of the jar does it say that it can be used at night too. This cream is really thick but absorbs so fast and instantly makes my skin feel so smooth. My makeup goes on great over the top which is also a bonus. It’s fragrance free and a little goes a long way which is a winner for me.
Wheesht also have lots of other lovely skincare like face masks, bath salts, hair/scalp and facial oils which are all natural so I’m hoping to order some of those soon!
