Hey everyone!
I have something very exciting to show you which is the Jooki Player. Now I knew my two little girls would like this as they enjoy listening to music but this just takes it to a whole new level!
Disclaimer – this is a collaborative blog post although all opinions in this review are 100% honest and my own.
What makes this so special is that is comes with 5 toy figurines. They work with Magical Toy Touch Technology so every time you place a different character on top of the player it plays different music or stories that have been picked for your children. You can add your very own playlists of stories or songs to each figurine through the Jooki App and through Spotify. The great thing is it can be streamed independently through Jooki so once you’ve set it all up you don’t need to use a smartphone.
You could create your own playlists full of your children’s favourite stories or songs. We’ve got quite a lot of Disney songs in our playlists, some dance songs like the Cha cha slide, oh and of course the famous baby shark and “Elsa” if you know, you know! If you don’t know which songs or stories to choose then Jooki can help as it shows you some suggested play lists. You can also search on Spotify or Deezer like I did!
Like they always do my girls still managed to fight over the Jooki characters but soon learned that they could take turns and still have fun. They really enjoy listening to stories whilst having lunch at the weekends and dancing any time of the day. It’s so simple to use and you can switch between the characters and playlists by swapping over the character on the top of the player. My girls are indecisive (much like their mother) so keep switching every few minutes. It did make me laugh as I’m exactly the same when I’m choosing music on Spotify!
It’s honestly so easy to use once it’s set up, my 2 year old daughter knows how to operate the Jooki Player on her own. Although it’s a bit of a headache when she has to listen to baby shark over and over again! There is an on/off button, volume, back and forward buttons on the face of the player. The charging port is hidden underneath and you could also use these as speakers or plug headphones into them which is an added bonus. You get instructions in the box but everything is very straight forward and when you download the Jooki app it tells you everything you need to know. It tests the characters and allows you to tune your favourite playlists to each character one by one. As soon as this is completed you are totally good to go which is great when you’ve got very excitable children who can’t wait!
What I love about this is that it’s so interactive even though there is no screen. We’ve had lots of giggles, dancing around and singing our hearts out! I can see my daughters little minds searching for their favourite songs or stories, skipping each one until they find it and rejoicing when they’re finally got it! We’ve been using the Jooki Player almost every day since we received it and I honestly can’t see the girls getting bored with it. This is great for independent play and can it can grow with them while their favourite songs and stories change. All I need to do is swap up the playlists to something more relevant to what they are into at the time.
I’ve been using the player too when the girls are busy or in bed so I can listen to my favourite bands while I crack on with the house work! I would recommend this to anyone. You can get your own for £169.99 at Amazon and they will also be available from their website from March!
