My daughter Zara loves Hatchimals. I think she loves it as it’s a complete surprise what’s inside! She’s one of those kiddies who will sit and watch toy reviews on YouTube. *cough* Ryan *cough* This is a collaborative post and we were kindly gifted these toys for review purposes.
There are lots of different types of Hatchimals and the ones we were given are the Hatchimals Pixies Royal Snow Ball. There are 8 of these cute little Pixies to collect and we received Sierra and Casey.
What’s in the box?
1 hatchimals egg, 1 instructions sheet, 3 accessories.
To hatch the egg is very simple, you just need to hold it and break the shell, it looks very solid when you first open it but it’s actually very easy to crack and retrieve your pixie toy from the middle of the egg.
Once you’ve cracked open the egg you will be able to see your little Pixie inside, once you pull her out you’ll see that there’ssome accessories further down that you can pull out of the egg.
Underneath each Pixie there are some accessories for her, we received 3 accessories per Pixie, they were a crown, glasses and a bracelet which matched the colours of the Pixie perfectly.
Each Pixie has a glittery hair style, sparkly dress and wings that actually flutter. You can switch between the accessories on your Pixie for example swap her glasses for a crown instead and take her jewellery on and off. The Pixies attach to a little stand which you can use to spin your Pixie around.
We had so much fun playing with these Hatchimals Pixies! Zara and I raced each other to see who’s Pixie could spin the fastest. They are also the perfect size to use in a dolls house. Both of the girls were playing with them and putting them to bed in the dolls house before they went to bed.
