I’d be lying if I said our two year old Zara wasn’t a snack queen, her sister Zayah seems to be following in her footsteps too.
I can’t even tell you how many times a day Zara asks for snacks, she’s a grazer and will happily munch on lots of little bits throughout day instead of having three full meals.
We went down the route of baby led weaning with both of the girls and like the fact that they could feed themselves and try a variety of different foods. (We also liked that we could have our dinner while it was still hot!)
We have been a fan of organix since Zara was a baby however neither of the girls had tried these ones before.
We were very kindly sent some Organix Goodies Cheesy Pea snaps and Organix Finger foods cheese baby biscuits.
Cheesy Pea Snaps
These are made from dried green split peas with corn and they are flavoured with cheese. They are green in colour, shaped as little pea pods and are perfect for little hands. (and big hands too, mummy tried them and I can confirm they are delicious)
Both of the girls really enjoyed them, they are great to have at home and brilliant to take out and about in the changing bag with us for when they get peckish. Comes in a pack of 4.
Suitable from 12 months +
Zayah is almost 9 months and as we are doing baby led weaning I am comfortable with her eating these.
Where to buy? Asda & Sainsbury’s
Cheese baby biscuits
These are organic ring biscuits made with wheat and cheese. The girls loved these biscuits and they disappeared rather fast! We’ve had the baby biscuits before but not this flavour but I will definitely be buying them again. They are great for little hands as there is a hole in the middle of each biscuit and this makes it easier for little hands to hold on to. Zara said they were yummy and Zayah was covered in biscuit after devouring them.
These are also great to have in the house and also out and about. I would advise to keep them in the packet or in a box as they will otherwise snap before they are eaten.
Suitable from 10 months +
Again Zayah is almost 9 months and as we are doing baby led weaning I was comfortable with her eating these too.
Where to buy? Asda, Morrisons & Sainsbury’s.
I appreciate so much that these snacks are made from organic ingredients and not full of unnecessary fats, sugars and colourings. I know exactly what is in them and they taste really good!
