Hey everyone,
Summer is on the way which means the children will be spending a lot more time outdoors and a lot less time indoors. My children love to be outside in the fresh air and with that I thought it would be great to review some of their favourite outdoor toys as a part of a series to make it easier for you guys to search for products for your own children.
We have worked with the lovely team over at Skates.co.uk a few times now and we honestly rate their products very highly. Shane still scoots around on his commuter scooted most days even if he’s just popping to the shops!
First up is the JD BUG JUNIOR KIDS MS100 PASTEL PINK ORIGINAL STREET PUSH FOLDABLE SCOOTER. I obviously had to choose it in a beautiful pink colour for my youngest daughter who is basically a fairy princess.
We have always had scooters for as long as they’ve been old enough to but never from this brand. She finds it so easy to use and likes to go outdoors and scoot about near our house and also use it to get to and from school which she is very much enjoying!
The scooter itself is very easy to use. It’s already built so no faffing around you just have to unfold it when you want to use it and it also has height adjustable handle bars as the children grow, which as we know they grow quickly! My daughter said its really smooth to scoot around with and finds it much nicer than her old scooter.
We also have some gorgeous SFR VISION II ROLLER SKATES WHITE / BLUE for my eldest daughter who is turning 8 in July. She is the more sporty shall I say out of the two and was so chuffed with her skates!
Perfect for using in our garden and just outside the house up and down the road. She’s not quite mastered any tricks yet but loves to get moving on these. Not only that but the skates themselves are actually so pretty and very aesthetically pleasing! My eldest daughter said that they feel really comfortable and we all agree that they feel incredibly sturdy and will last for a long time.
We did request that she put on a helmet and knee pads to use her skates in case she fell over which she was quite happy to do and is something that I would recommend as a parent. The skates have a High grip and are comfortably padded – perfect for a child at a beginner level of rollerskating.
I was very excited to learn that Skate.co.uk actually have a sister company which is BadmintonHQ and they have a whole range of Badminton related products for all of the family including clothing, shoes, accessories, shuttles and of course badminton rackets.
Now I don’t think I’ve actually played badminton in YEARS so I am very excited for us to play as a family as we now have this lovely set to use! It’s the YONEX GR303 BADMINTON RACKET AND NET SET the set complete with 4 durable steel framed rackets, 2 nylon shuttles, net and net posts. I love that it comes with everything that we need and we can set it up in our own garden ready for some fun in the sun! A big thank you to Skates.co.uk and Badmintonhq.co.uk – forever grateful for these opportunities!
I hope you find this post helpful, I’m always on the lookout for great Outdoor toys for my children to play with. Especially as I know we will spend a lot of time together during half term and the summer holidays!
