Hey Everyone,
I hope you’re all doing good. We’ve just had the summer holidays fly by haven’t we and now life is back at such a fast pace again. My girls played with lots of toys during the summer holidays as well as lots of days out and trips to the park.
Now I don’t know about yours, but my little girls love little activities and this toy we are reviewing is just that. My girls are 3 and 6 years old so I was with them when they were playing with this and making sure they weren’t making a complete mess of it.
*Disclaimer – We were sent these toys for the purposes of a review, the review is honest and my own*
If your little ones, girls or boys! like to get dolled up with jewels then this is something they will love. We actually had a lot of fun with this as each of the magic stones transform into beautiful jewels that they can make jewelry with.
We very gratefully received two different sets which were; Jewel Secrets Royal Jewellery Set (RRP £19.99) and the Jewel Secrets ring set (£19..99) Available to purchase from Smyths Toys Superstores.
These toys are suitable for children aged 4 and over. My youngest is 4 in 2 weeks so I let her have a go at this and it was actually really lovely to see as she and my 6 year old were helping each other.
With the Royal Jewellery set, children can creare their own wand and tiara with the jewels they find and with the ring set they can create a beautiful jewelled ring.
Each play set comes with a chamber containing magic stones, these are a bit like a bath bomb and have the jewels inside of them, the lovely surprise is that they don’t know which one it is until they’ve added water and the magic stones disolve. Its a great surprise reveal and truthfully, my girls probably enjoyed this part more than wearing the jewellery itself. Every gem has a meaning which can be found on the collectors chart.
Once the magic stones disolve, you are left with your beautiful selection of gems which the kids can use to add and personalise their jewellery. The jewellery is easy to put together and the gems pop out so that you can replace them with a different colour.
These Jewel Secrets sets would make a wonderful birthday or christmas present for any little ones who like to accessorise. As I mentioned a bit further up in my post its a lovely activity to get stuck into and they get to keep the jewellery after to wear.
