Hey Everyone,
I hope you’re all well. I have got a really exciting review today – Eco Plant Milk from Nutribuddy. You may have heard of this brand before.
I had seen them allover the internet and had been quite intrigued by their range of products, so when they contacted me and asked me if I would like to review their products I was quite excited.
*Disclaimer – The products mentioned in this blog post were sent to me to review, all opinions are my own*
If you’ve been following me for a while you will know that I’m quite into my eco products and this really does fit the bill. The oats used in this plant milk are grown in the UK and Europe, use less water than other vegan milk sources, require less energy to be stored and this powdered plant milk lasts for months even once its been opened.
What I liked about it – its very versatile, much like normal none vegan powdered milk you can use it in a variety of things such as cooking, drinks and making different recipes. Swapping the usual milk for this. I really like oat milk and this tastes lovely. It’s very slightly sweetened with with stevia which is a 0 calorie natural sweetener and is enhanced with a little bit of sea salt. To make yourself a glass of milk, simply add 2 scoops of the milk powder to your shaker and add 200ml of water, shake until its combined. You can then use this milk in other recipes and it works nicely with cereal too. The milk powder keeps for ages and the reusable glass storage jar from Nutribuddy is a great way to keep it fresh.
I was also very kindly sent some of the smooth chocolate breakfast shake from Nutribuddy which works perfectly with the eco friendly plant milk. I added 2 scoops of the milk with 3 scoops of the breakfast shake powder into my shaker, added water and shook until smooth. Its such a quick and easy way to have breakfast – which is handy when I’m running around after my girls like a headless chicken in the mornings. The combination of the oat milk and the shake kept me feeling full until lunchtime which was great.
If you are looking to make some swaps to more eco friendly milks and products, I would say that these are a great place to start, the products are such good quality, extremely economical and also vegan friendly.
