Summer is on its way and I’m sure everyone is looking forward to it that little bit more after the year we have had. The sun shining, relaxing in the garden with loved ones, cocktails to hand while you had a BBQ cooking some delicious food for you in the background to the sound of your children playing happily. What could be better? We need to make this summer better than ever before and spend as much time as we can outside and with loved ones as possible. Here are a few ways to upgrade your garden this summer so you can happily relax in it all day.
Grow Your Own Food
One way to make your garden stand out is to grow your own vegetables and fruit. You don’t need to have a green thumb or much space. There are so many ways you can start small and add more and more things as and when you want to. Some of the easier ones to start with are strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, and fruit trees. Most fruit trees come already partially grown so all you need to do is plant it, tend to it and then collect the fruit once it starts producing. How perfect would that be if you fancied some strawberries with your breakfast and you can just nip in your garden and grab a few?
Getting An Outdoor Stove
Having a garden stove like the esse stoves will be a wonderful addition to your garden. By having a high-quality outdoor stove with BBQ features you will make all your friends jealous and desperate to come over! The stoves have hotplates and grills for fabulous wood-fired cooking to make your garden parties stand out. When it is in stove mode, the hot plate can be swapped over for the grill so it makes an ideal solution for keeping nice and warm as the cooler summer evenings set in but you want to stay outdoors.
The Children’s Play Area
Upgrade the children’s play area this year, there are so many choices and playsets that can make them enjoy being outside and not stuck glued to screens during the summer months. Most play areas now come with a treehouse, slide, swing, and all other sorts of wonderful play additions. You can also look at a sandpit so they can build sandcastles in the comfort of their own garden without having to travel to a beach. As well as getting a bigger and better pool for the garden, one that all the family can enjoy and help cool down on those particularly hot days.
So what are you waiting for? There are some of the top ideas on getting your garden looking the best and being in the best state so you can enjoy it and make the most of the summer months this year. You can start preparing now by tending to weeds, cutting the grass, and keeping the garden neat and tidy giving yourself less work to do when the time comes.
