At the end of last month we were invited to Tesco Extra in Sandhurst to attend a brunch as they were celebrating the launch of their newly refurbished cafe and menu. I was quite excited about this as this is our local Tesco and we often walk there to do our shopping. Is it bad I didn’t realise the Cafè was being refurbished though?! Totally oblivious!
Tesco Cafè hosted a brunch and invited some local shoppers and bloggers to sample food and drink from their all day breakfast menu. The menu included dishes such as fried, poached and scrambled eggs. One of my favourites Avocado on toast and also a Vegan breakfast! They are also serving premium barista coffees.
My partner and I had a big breakfast each which was delicious but oh so filling! Our little one Zayah has pancakes with maple syrup, berry compote and sliced bananas which she enjoyed but was very sticky afterwards (haha)! The food and drink was served quickly, cooked perfectly and tasted great.
I had a lovely hot latte which was nice and frothy – a bonus that I was able to drink it whilst it was still hot! Mum life!
There was also entertainment for the little ones as under 5s were also invited for brunch! There was a face painting station where little ones could choose a design. Zayah opted for a sparkly snowflake on her hand and she didn’t want to wash it off!
There was also a balloon artist on the day, he came around all of the tables making jokes, performing card tricks and making all sorts of animals out of balloons! Zayah had a ball, we all did!
We had a really enjoyable time and the food was super tasty. The newly refurbished cafe is nice and comfortable, family friendly and perfect if you want to grab some food on the go or have a sit down meal. Thank you to Tesco for the invite!
